TELEVISION PROGRAM BROADCASTING RIGHTS

The Government intends to award a delivery order under IDIQ Contract No. HQ0028-06-D-0004 to 20 Century Fox for broadcast rights to its television programming for AFN to reproduce and distribute, provide live feeds or recorded copies of authorized programs and provide access to WBITDI's marketing websites. The Delivery Order will request broadcasting right of programs such as - King of the Hill (Yr 13), and - Simpsons, The (Yr 20) which 20 Century Fox holds exclusive program broadcasting rights. These programs will be distributed by encrypted, digitally compressed satellite transmission system (currently Scientific Atlanta's PowerVu Plus (MPEG-2)) and/or by mail to authorized AFN television outlets outside the contiguous United States for non-commercial distribution/presentation via television broadcast frequencies, encrypted, digitally compressed satellite transmission, and/or limited closed-circuit distribution system. Programming will consist of made-for-television programs and movies. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
