The award will be granted to the firm deemed in the best interest of the County following a review by a Professional Services Committee and the Board of County Commissioners. Required submissions include a detailed narrative of services, a billing basis such as fixed fees or hourly rates, and various certifications including drug-free workplace and non-collusion affidavits. The resulting contract will require comprehensive insurance coverage, including Professional Liability and Errors and Omissions at 1 million dollars per claim and aggregate, as well as Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability. Proposers may request contract revisions using a specific Contract Exception Form during the question period; however, the County is not obligated to grant these exceptions, and proposals contingent upon them will not be accepted.
