Temporary Employment Services for Neighborhood Clean-Up

The City of Yuma is soliciting bids under RFB-27-122 for temporary employment services to support its Neighborhood Clean-Up activities. The selected provider will furnish a pre-screened and pre-qualified crew of four laborers, with an option to increase up to seven, on an as-needed basis from January through May 1st each year. The provider is responsible for all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and payroll taxes, and must ensure all personnel undergo thorough national, state, and local background checks and receive OSHA training. A critical performance requirement is the ability to provide a list of qualified employees within two working days of a request. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and requires firm, fixed pricing for 12 months following the notice of award. The provider must maintain comprehensive insurance, including General Liability, Auto, and Workers' Compensation, and name the City and its employees as additional insureds. Compliance with federal and state non-discrimination laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Arizona employment regulations is mandatory. The Public Works Solid Waste Manager will oversee performance and conduct inspections of equipment, personal protective equipment, and quality control documents.
