The Directorate of Contracting at Fort Campbell, KY, requires repair services for two tents originally manufactured by Anchor Industries, Inc. The project involves extensive replacement of parts for both a 30 ft x 30 ft Custom MilSpan Structure and a 50 ft x 90 ft AA MilSpan tent. These repairs include the replacement of structural components such as aluminum box-beams, fabric panels with temper doors and ducts, camouflage support poles, racks, repair and extra parts kits, and various tools necessary for installation. Additionally, engineering calculations must be provided to ensure the tents can withstand wind loads of 70 mph and snow loads of 3 psf. The procurement is planned as a firm-fixed-price, supply-type contract awarded solely to Anchor Industries due to their status as the original manufacturer, ensuring compatibility and avoiding duplication of cost. This procurement will be conducted as a sole source under statutory authority allowing non-competitive sourcing, and the solicitation will not be issued as a request for competitive offers. However, firms capable of meeting the requirements may submit written notifications to the Contracting Officer within 14 days of the synopsis publication, providing sufficient evidence of their capability. The NAICS code for this procurement is 314912, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. If no viable responses are received by the specified deadline, the Government will proceed with sole source negotiations with Anchor Industries. Responses must be submitted via email or fax by the due date, with phone inquiries not accepted. Points of contact are available for further information.
