ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS       NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Southaven, Mississippi will receive written sealed bids until the hour of 10 o'clock a.m. local time, on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Southaven, at the following address:               Southaven City Hall             8710 Northwest Drive             Southaven, Mississippi 38671   Received Bids will then be publicly read aloud in the City’s Board Room at 10:30 a.m. local time. Bids are for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials (as specified) necessary for the project designated as the “Term Contract for Annual Asphalt Overlay Installation”. Specifications are on file and can be viewed at the office of the City Clerk.     Bids are for the delivery and installation of asphalt materials needed for work related to City streets. The work will generally include but is not limited to the delivery and placement of asphalt pavement.             This Contract shall be for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to renew the contract for additional periods up to four (4) additional years.   Copies of the contract documents and specifications may be obtained from the City Clerk’s office, with payment of $50.00 reproduction costs for each set, none of which is refundable.   In addition, official bid documents can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. Electronic Bids can also be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.
