All documents (forms) herein and attached are required to be completed and returned with response. All questions must be answered in the Ion Wave Q&A segment. No emailed, faxed or phone call question related to this bid will be responded to.
This is a Term Contract for one (1) year and four (4) optional renewals. The annual expected expenditure is $5,000,000.00. It is our intention to award one (1) contract in the amount of $5,000,000.00. This is an evaluated bid, please pay close attention to the GP&L Construction Contractor Questionnaire and provide a complete and organized response. You will be provided the bid documents for three (3) pseudo projects for Substation work.
The evaluation scores for all three (3) pseudo scenarios will be added together and averaged with the contractor receiving the highest score being awarded a contract.
You will need to submit a complete response for each bid. Failure to submit a complete response for all three (3) bids will result in your bid being deemed incomplete and therefore non-responsive and you will be ineligible to be awarded the Term Contract. Any additional required pricing is for informational purposes only and will not be factored into your evaluated score. Please acknowledge the City of Garland Terms and Conditions in the "Attributes" section.
Bonds will not be required for the Term Contract itself, but bonds will be required before the start of each individual project as determined by Statutory requirements.
