Federal Aid Project No. STP-7286-00(007)LPA/109771/701000 The City of Byram, Hinds County, Mississippi, will receive bids for the Terry Road Pavement Improvement Project for a total project length of 0.768 miles, Federal Aid Project No. STP-7286-00(007)LPA/109771/701000 no later than 2:00 p.m., Local Time, July 7, 2026, located at the City Hall of Byram at 5901 Terry Road, Byram, Mississippi. All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 24, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at McMaster & Associates, Inc. located at 212 Waterford Square, Suite 300 Madison, Mississippi. The work shall consist essentially of the following items: Cold milling and paving operations include, but are not limited to, base repair, leveling, trench widening, thermoplastic traffic striping, installation of reflective raised markers, and placement of roadway signage. The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein. The attention of bidders is directed to the Contract Provisions governing selection and employment of labor. Minimum wage rates for Federal-Aid projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581 Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the Contract Provisions.
