The sources sought synopsis is issued by the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, to identify capable vendors for the repair of the KC-135 Surge Suppressor, identified by NSN 1680-99-663-6363FL and part number 755000-101. The repair work involves complete overhaul including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, reassembly, testing, and finishing to restore units to serviceable condition, with all work requiring strict adherence to OEM specifications, technical orders, and applicable military standards. Contractors must comply with MIL-STD-130N for Item Unique Identification, applying a permanent 2-D Data Matrix barcode to each unit and ensuring its readability and integrity throughout the repair process; damaged IUIDs must be replaced. Packaging must conform to MIL-STD-2073-1E and TO 00-85B-3, with correct labeling using DD Forms 1574 (serviceable), 1577-2 (repairable), and 1577 (condemned) as required.
