The Fields at Alamo Creek Project

The Fields at Alamo Creek project, identified as File No. 22-180, is a development initiative by the City of Vacaville located on a 33.6-acre parcel adjacent to the eastern boundary of The Farm at Alamo Creek Specific Plan area. The project consists of a tentative subdivision map for the creation of up to 241 detached single-family residential lots and 88 half-plex lots for attached homes. Additionally, the development includes a 0.6-acre park and 7.2 acres of agricultural buffer. To facilitate this development, the project requires a General Plan Land Use designation amendment from Urban Reserve to Residential Medium Density, along with text amendments regarding lot counts and size requirements for lots adjacent to agricultural buffers. The project also involves a prezone of the site to Residential Medium Density and Public Facilities with an Agricultural Buffer overlay, and a Specific Plan Amendment to incorporate the site into The Farm at Alamo Creek Specific Plan. The City of Vacaville approved the project on October 14, 2025, following the issuance of a Negative Declaration under CEQA. Administrative oversight is managed by the City of Vacaville Planning Division.
