The Phoenix Rearing Facility (PRF) is part of a federally appropriated program that aligns with the Congressional Findings in Specialty Crops Competitiveness Act (7 U.S.C. 1621 et seg.) In order for the PRF to maintain the capability to irradiate navel orangeworm moths at 30Kr in a time frame that will keep up with current and future production needs the JL-Shepard Model 484F-C needs the recharge before the end of CY2026.
