The Leflore County Board of Supervisors, hereby solicits Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms licensed to practice in the State of Mississippi for professional engineering services associated with a proposed Downtown Rehabilitat

The Leflore County Board of Supervisors is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from engineering firms licensed in the State of Mississippi to provide professional engineering services for a proposed Downtown Rehabilitation Project. Funding for this initiative will be sought through the Mississippi Development Authority Small Municipalities and Limited Population Counties Program. The scope of work includes professional services such as construction observation, inspections, and the preparation of project certifications and closeout documentation. Minority-owned, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to apply. Interested firms must submit their qualifications by 5:00 p.m. on October 16, 2026. Submissions must include the firm's history, qualifications of key personnel, evidence of professional liability insurance, and proof of Mississippi licensure. Evaluation factors include experience with municipal building rehabilitation, public facility projects, and Mississippi Development Authority grant-funded projects, as well as references from governmental clients and a proven ability to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
