The River’s Edge Ranch project involves a significant expansion of existing facilities, adding approximately 19,143 square feet of new indoor space comprising an Administration Building and a Bunkhouse, along with 45,000 square feet of new outdoor impervious surfaces including parking, access roads, and driveway entrances. To make room for this development, several existing structures and features on the site will be demolished or relocated. The basketball court, dog pen, and an existing shed on the eastern portion of the property will be removed, totaling approximately 8,000 square feet of demolition. Additionally, both 12-foot-wide gates at the Haynes Road access points will be replaced with a single 40-foot-wide gate to improve vehicle flow and access. The tool shed, playground, horse wash station, and two corrals will be relocated within the property boundaries to accommodate the new construction while maintaining operational functionality. The project is being managed by San Bernardino County and is located at 92356-9054 in San Bernardino, California. Primary points of contact include Oliver Mujica, Contract Planner III at the county, who serves as the main liaison, along with Doug Whiteman, President of The River’s Edge Ranch, and Eliza Laws, Senior Environmental Analyst from Webb Associates, providing environmental oversight. The project was posted as a forecast on June 30, 2025, and is referenced through the CEQA Net system under project number 2025061424. No set-aside type or NAICS code has been specified, indicating the procurement may be open to a broad range of contractors and consultants. There is no indication of competitive bidding at this stage, suggesting this is an early notice to prepare for potential future solicitations.
