The Towers, LLC Conditional Use Permit (PROJ-26-0049)

The Towers, LLC is seeking a Conditional Use Permit from Butte County, California, for the construction of a 127-foot unmanned wireless communications monopine located in Oroville near Ophir Road and Lower Wyandotte Road. The facility will house Verizon equipment, including twelve 8-foot antennas positioned between 110 and 118 feet, four Remote Radio Units, two 3-foot microwave antennas, and a GPS antenna. To minimize visual impact, all antennas and accessory equipment will be painted with an anti-glare finish to match the monopine design. The ground-level infrastructure will be situated within a 50 by 50 foot lease area enclosed by a 6-foot barb-wire chain-link fence with green privacy slats and a 12-foot access gate. Key ground equipment includes a radio cabinet, two raised concrete pads, a cable ice bridge, a utility backboard, and a 30 kW diesel generator with a 210-gallon fuel tank.
