The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, would like to invite contractors to Industry Day to be held at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jadwin Building, 2000 Fort Point Road, RM-175, Galveston, Texas at 0930 hrs (CST), February 12, 2009. We would like to showcase our Fiscal Year 2009 Operations and Maintenance base year program, storm supplemental work and potential economic stimulus work. In addition to our schedule, we would like to discuss Multiply Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for construction contracts and a MATOC contract for emergency dredging. The purpose of this meeting will be to give our contracting community a look at the work we have planned this year and to solicit feedback from the dredging industry on implementation of a MATOC for emergency dredging.
