This notice announces the intent by the Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific in support of Tripler Army Medical Center to procure CEEP 17-017 Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) machines for the Adult Intensive Care Unit at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. Specifically the government intends to procure analyzers manufactured by NxStage Medical Inc., 350 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA, 01843-1748. NxStage System One provides the main dual treatment option CRRT and TPE in a single machine that is currently used in deployments and is the equipment that issued to treat our patients and train employees at TAMC. NxStage is the only manufacturer and distributor of this equipment and is therefore the only vendor who can meet the government's needs. The NAICS code is 334510. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
