The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement to purchase software provided by Thermo-Calc software, Inc. @ 4160 Washington Rd # 230, Canonsburg, PA 15317. For: annual licenses of the Thermal-calc software suite, plus 3 option years. The NAICS code is 511210. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Thermo-Calc software, Inc. Thermo-Calc Software, Inc. is the only provider of this software because of the software code's proprietary nature. Thermo-Calc software, Inc. develops and owns the code for Thermo-Calc, DICTRA, and TCPRISMA, software programs, and is therefore the only company able to provide the licensing to support it. Interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 11/19 /2018. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 11/19 /2018, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
