The contract procures 127 units of a clinical electronic thermometer kit, identified by NSN 6515-01-331-7295, designed for oral and auxiliary temperature measurement with a digital predictive mode, operating on a 1.55 VDC button battery and capable of 200 hours of continuous use within a temperature range of 89.6 to 107.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Each kit includes a wallet-type holder and a sleeve of five disposable plastic probe covers, and must comply with FDA Regulation 880.2900 Class I, as well as the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements referenced by R or I numbers. All units must be packaged commercially as specified, with each thermometer securely sealed in a protective unit container and packed in commercial shipping containers suitable for safe transport via common carriers at the lowest cost to the destination specified in the contract. Marking must strictly follow Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129, and copies of this standard are available through DLA Troop Support. Delivery is required within five days after order placement, with FOB destination terms, and the required delivery date is June 2, 2026. The contracting activity is the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain MD Surg FSF, issuing the solicitation SPE2DS-26-T-108K via the DIBBS portal, with no small business set-aside.
