Full Description

Requirement: We are seeking wind machine capable of protecting 15.7 acres of orchard from frost freeze damage. The purchase shall include delivery, installation, setup and maintenance of the new wind machine. This requirement will include an appropriately sized concrete base for new machine, removal/disposal of one 70 year old machine and movement of existing machine to that spot. We require delivery within 120 days after award. ***IF SELECTED, THE VENDOR MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE 24/7 ON CALL SUPPORT WITH ON SITE MAINTENANCE WITHIN 12 HOURS OF NOTIFICATION. Specifications: The wind machine shall meet or exceed the following specifications. Powered by EPA approved propane motor and components producing minimum of 172 Horse power. Solid fiberglass composite blade capable of operation of 500+MPH. The unit must have a tilt head and an auto start. We will also need interoperable auto starts retrofitted and installed on two older ground powered wind machines. The warranty must be a minimum of 10 years with no wind exclusion.
