Three Primary Dry Vacuum Pumps & Six Smaller Pumps for AMO Project

This notice is issued by The SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, located in Menlo Park, California. We are soliciting responses from interested parties to deliver nine mechanical vacuum pumps that meet the following requirements: Three large capacity primary pumps (often referred to as roughing pumps) are required to back large turbomolecular pumps used in the Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics (AMO) experiment. It is important that all pumps be suitable for pumping corrosive gases with gas purge. See the Proposal Form and the Statement of Work for more information." Vendors interested in providing this requirement are invited to submit a proposal to SLAC Purchasing Office no later than 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on 19 February 2009.
