The contract pertains to the procurement of 43 thumb screws with NSN 5305-01-379-8732 under solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-05TJ, with a delivery requirement of 46 days after award. Strict prohibitions are in place against the intentional addition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds to any supplied hardware, with exceptions narrowly defined for functional uses in batteries, fluorescent lights, specified instruments, sensors, controls, weapon systems, and chemical analysis reagents approved by NAVSEA. Portable fluorescent lamps and instruments containing mercury must be shockproof and include a secondary containment barrier compliant with NAVSEA 5100-003D. Government identification must be removed from non-accepted items, and all bare items must be physically marked per RQ017.
