Solicitation # SW27-0490-40
The San Diego Unified School District, through its Facilities Planning and Construction Department, has issued Request for Information SW27-0490-40 to identify vendors capable of providing a comprehensive web-based eProcurement platform. The primary objective is to find a solution for the electronic management and advertisement of solicitations, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, with integrated capabilities for contractor and vendor prequalification and CUPCCAA registration. Key technical requirements include the ability to migrate approximately 7,000 vendor records, 700 solicitations, and 500 business certifications from PlanetBids, as well as integration with Enterprise Resource Planning and financial systems. The platform must also support tracking for insurance, safety metrics such as OSHA logs and Experience Modification Rates, and Department of Industrial Relations validation, while maintaining ADA and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 compliance. This process is strictly for informational and planning purposes, and the District has explicitly stated that this is not a bid and no award will be made from this RFI. Interested vendors are required to submit a concise response by November 5, 2026, consisting of a completed questionnaire that includes a capability matrix, non-binding budgetary cost assumptions for implementation and licensing, and three public agency references. The RFI seeks to gather data on software capabilities, including the management of small business and disadvantaged business enterprise certifications and the ability to perform confidential financial statement evaluations. All submissions should be directed to the District's office at 4860 Ruffner Street, San Diego, California.
