Tire Changer (Equipment)

This solicitation, issued under number FA5270-26-Q-A042 by the Department of Defense through the 18th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, seeks competitive quotations for a single new tire changer to replace an unsafe and non-functional unit in the Vehicle Maintenance Tire Shop. The equipment must meet or exceed the performance of the BMT-1250X model, and submissions must be submitted electronically to Eiko Maeshiro and Miyoko Hokama no later than 11:00 AM Japan Standard Time on July 13, 2026. Delivery must be made to the designated warehouse in Tracy, California, with the final destination marked for Kadena Air Force Base. Invoicing and payment must be processed exclusively through the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system using the specified DoDAACs and document types, and the contractor is required to maintain an active SAM registration. Numerous FAR and DFARS clauses are incorporated, including provisions on prohibited procurement relationships, cybersecurity and identity verification, combatting trafficking in persons, Buy American restrictions, and compliance with regulations concerning foreign jurisdictions like Xinjiang and the Maduro regime. The contractor is also subject to requirements relating to former DoD officials’ compensation and electronic payment submission.
