The National Institutes of Health, through the Office of Logistics and Operations, is soliciting quotes for a one-time supply acquisition of an xTool MetalFab 1200W Laser Welder All-In-One Bundle. This system is intended for the NIEHS Fabrication and Repair Studio in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, to support precise metal fabrication, repair, and maintenance for research and laboratory operations. The comprehensive bundle includes the 1200W laser welder, a selected air compressor and air dryer, a set of five ordinary cutting nozzles, a CNC cleaning nozzle, a SafetyPro AP2 air purifier, and lifetime technical support from MatterHackers. This procurement is for commercial items under FAR Subpart 12.6 and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract using the lowest price technically acceptable approach.
