This purchase request is to buy the required ForceMate tools that the blade shop needs to change out the bushings on the UH-60M main rotor blades. They need to use the Fatigue Technology tooling to replace these bushings when they wear out. . MARKET RESEARCH: Market research has shown that the FatigueTechnology Inc. (FTI) has developed and advanced the science of cold expansion and engineer innovative solutions and products that significantly reduce manufacturing and maintenance flow-time and costs. The company patented ForceMate bushing installation system. These tools will be sole sourced to this company.
