Full Description

The Contracting Office, Naval Hospital Bremerton, Bremerton WA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source; Simplexgrinnell Lp. The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 13.106(b)(1) Sole Source acquisition. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services with satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for the following items: 1 each #62-10001; TotGuard Infant Security Application, Client Software License 1 each #63-10001; Tot/Allguard 1 day Training, In-house 2 each #WIN7; WINDOWS7 SOFTWARE LICENSE 1 each #WIN2012; Server 2012 Software License 1 year #DPSUB; Software Updates and Support This requirement is to provide, install and test one additional client software license, provide Windows OS Upgrades (Upgrade and test two existing client PC's from Windows XP to Windows 7 and one server machine to Windows Server 2012); provide 1 year of Software Updates and Support and conduct 1 day of on-site training to include user guides. Perform system tests of all stairwell door and elevator controllers to ensure correct operation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334614 and the small business size standard is 750. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures using other than Full and Open Competition and awarded on an unrestricted basis. (See (1) attachment-Sole Source Justification) THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must submit a capability statement to Frankie Meester at contact@example.gov by 11AUG2014, 12:00pm Pacific Time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source award to Simplexgrinnell LP. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
