This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Notice issued for the purpose of Market Research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a Request for Proposals (RFP). DLA Troop Support is NOT requesting a quote or proposal in response to this notice. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by DLA Troop Support for any purpose. The Government does not intend to pay for information furnished pursuant to this Request for Information (RFI). The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research to identify other parties that have an interest in and have the resources to support the following requirement. DLA Troop Support seeks your expression of interest and any suggestion regarding DLA Troop Support's desire to establish supply support for the below items. INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS: The following items and respective part numbers to be procured in accordance with approved source, ORBIS CORPORATION (CAGE 1W6J1). NSN 3990015384355 Nomenclature Box, Tote Annual Estimated Quantity 2,500 EA NSN 3990015411873 Nomenclature Box, Tote Annual Estimated Quantity 250 EA NOTICE: Any party interested in becoming qualified to manufacture the item will be required to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package for approval. A Source Approval Request is a package of information provided by a prospective new supplier to become an approved source for procurement of a National Stock Number (NSN). This package must contain all technical data needed to demonstrate competence to manufacture the NSN to the same, or better, level of quality than the current approved source(s). Please complete and return the attached Market Survey. Any interested party needs to identify their capability to provide the aforementioned NSNs, and should respond to this announcement via email to Joseph Aprile, contact@example.gov and Maureen Tyler, contact@example.gov no later than May 4, 2023 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time.
