AI Contract Overview
The contract specifies the procurement of three nonpneumatic tourniquet systems featuring TruForce buckle technology, designed to auto-lock within a circumferential range of 5.5 to 35 inches, ensuring secure application on extremities of varying sizes. The tourniquet includes a windlass C-hook system with a machined 6061-T6 aluminum rod for durability and consistent performance, paired with a TruFlex plate made of durable nylon to distribute pressure evenly while remaining flexible on smaller limbs. The all-weather strap is constructed from single-layer nylon and incorporates a Mil-Std-810G-rated hook and loop system that remains functional even when fully submerged, with material optimized for night vision compatibility. Each unit must be individually sealed in a protective container and packed in commercial shipping containers suitable for safe transport via common carriers at the lowest possible rate, with delivery required within 20 days of award to FPO, 34087. All packaging and marking must comply with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129, and technical requirements referenced in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements apply. The solicitation number is SPE2DS-26-T-008N, issued by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain, with responses due by April 29, 2026.
