Full Description

The New York Air National Guard (NYANG) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Tower Solutions, LLC., 7825 Washington Ave, Bloomington, MN. This requirement is a sole source, firm fixed price contract on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The sole source, Tower Solutions, LLC., is the tower manufacturer who possess the technical know-how to work on their own equipment and provide the required 80' tower upgrade bale sets. This upgrade will enhance mission flying capabilities and Tower Solutions, LLC is the only known company capable of meeting the government's requirement. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332312 and has a size standard of 500 employees. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 1:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 26 Sep 2016. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Contractors must have a current registration with System for Award Management (SAM). This is not a Request for Quote.
