TOWN OF FENTON SALT STORAGE BUILDING

The Town of Fenton is soliciting sealed bids for construction services to build a salt storage building located at 41 Pigeon Hill Road, Chenango Forks, New York. The scope of work primarily involves the pouring and installation of a concrete foundation and concrete walls, along with other necessary related tasks. The contract term is established for a minimum of one year. Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk at the Town Hall in Port Crane by November 4, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. To be eligible for consideration, bidders must provide a bid guaranty of at least ten percent of the total bid amount via a certified check, bank draft, or an approved bid bond. The Town reserves the right to award the contract based on its best interests and Open Tender Policy. Awardees must comply with New York State Department of Labor prevailing rate schedule PRC#2026028682 and adhere to OSHA Part 1926 safety regulations for construction. Failure to maintain OSHA compliance may result in a Stop Work Order. Additionally, contractors are required to submit certified copies of all payrolls with each payment requisition to the Town Office.
