Town of Seymour Bungay RFQ/RFP for Construction Management At-Risk Services

The Town of Seymour and the Bungay Elementary School Building Committee are soliciting qualifications and proposals for a Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMR) for solicitation number 2026-03. The project involves the demolition of the existing Bungay Elementary School and the design, construction, and closeout of a new school building and grounds located at 35 Bungay Road, Seymour, Connecticut. The selected firm will be responsible for pre-construction services, cost estimating, trade contract bidding and negotiation, and construction phase services, all subject to a guaranteed maximum price. This project is partially funded by a Priority List school building project grant from the State of Connecticut and must comply with Connecticut General Statutes Section 10-287(b)(3) and prevailing wage law requirements under CGS Section 31-53. Qualified firms must be pre-qualified by the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services under the Construction Manager At Risk Group B or C classification. Hard copy submissions must be delivered to the office of the Seymour First Selectwoman by November 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., and must be clearly labeled with the specific response type and the proposer's name.
