The Town of Stettler is seeking proposals for the development of residential lands in the Town of Stettler. Sale and development of the lands is through a Request for Proposal process. The successful proponent will enter into a land sales agreement with the Town of Stettler which will include conditions for payment, title transfer, subdivision approvals, rezoning applications, development agreement and development schedule to develop the Lands. The lots created through the development must be publicly available for purchase. The existing lands are currently partially subdivided into R1 – Residential Low Density lots. However, based on the Town of Stettler’s 2024 Housing Needs Assessment, the need for higher density residential development is desired. These lands are suited for a mix of R1 – Residential Low Density and R2 – Residential General development with priority given to proponents who include lands available for an apartment site or high-density residential style development.
