The Department of Defense, through the DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center (CBC), has issued a Request for Information (RFI) titled "Toxic Industrial Chemical (TIC) Neutralization" under solicitation number W911SR-26-X-0002. This RFI is intended solely for market research purposes and is not a solicitation or request for proposals; no contracts will be awarded as a result. The focus of this inquiry is to gather information on technologies and strategies that can render portable, transportable, or bulk volumes of toxic industrial chemicals safer by neutralizing, reducing toxicity, or minimizing their dispersion. The goal is to reduce operational risks associated with these Chemicals of Security Concern (COSC) through reactive or passive applications. Responses to this RFI are to be submitted electronically by June 16, 2026, following an extension from the original May 15 deadline. Submissions must be in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or PDF format, with proprietary information clearly marked and segregated. The point of contact for this effort includes Sarah H.
