This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Funds for this acquisition are not currently available. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31. This acquisition is unrestricted. //Schedule of items: This requirement is for Training Room/Media Room Furniture or Equal. //CLIN 0001: Please see attached documents named ITEM DESCRIPTION & EQUAL SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. //NOTE: Please ensure door to door shipping cost is included in quote. The items must be delivered to RAF Alconbury, UK within 30 Days after receipt of Order. To be eligible for award, you must guarantee delivery. //FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds applies to this order. This requirement is for planning purposes only and may or may not be funded at a later date and time. Please make your quotation valid until 30 September 2010. //AWARD WILL BE MADE TO THE VEDNOR WHOSE QUOTE IS THE LOWEST PRICED TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE QUOTE. INITIALLY, QUOTES SHALL BE RANKED ACCORDIGN TO PRICE (LOWEST TO HIGHES). THEN, QUOTES WILL BE EVALUATED FOR TECHNICAL ACCEPTABILITY. RATINGS WILL BE EITHER ACCEPTABLE (MEETS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS) OR UNACCEPTABLE (FAILS TO MEET MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS).
