This contract is for the procurement of 150 power transformers, identified by manufacturer code 59501 and part number 155366. The items are designated as critical application components and are to be delivered to destinations W62G2T and W25G1U within 143 days after receipt of order. The acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), with an initial intent to negotiate with a single source. However, the government will consider proposals from other responsible sources to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted. The small business size standard for this requirement is 500 employees, and the procurement does not follow the policies for the acquisition of commercial items.
