Solicitation # FD20302700172
The United States Air Force, through the 421st Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is conducting market research to identify qualified sources for the new manufacture of a turbine rotor component identified by NSN 2840015975182PR and part number 9547M19G13, intended for use on the F110 aircraft platform. The estimated spares requirement spans June 2026 to June 2027, and potential vendors must be capable of full manufacturing, including component procurement, inspection, testing, packaging, shipping, and addressing challenges such as diminishing manufacturing sources and long-lead parts. Technical data requirements are critical: while an Engineering Data List and Manufacturing Qualification Requirements (MQR) are referenced, no government-provided technical data is guaranteed, meaning contractors may need to independently acquire necessary drawings and specifications. Requests for engineering drawings must be submitted via a standardized Excel form to the public sales desk at Tinker AFB, and all source approval submissions must be made through the DoD SAFE system using electronic packages. Companies must provide comprehensive business information—such as CAGE code, UEI, NAICS classification, and small business certifications—by the response deadline of August 8, 2026, to be considered. The acquisition strategy remains under review, and the government may further break the requirement down by airframe or manufacturing method based on market feedback. NOZZLE,TURBINE,AIRC_End_Item_F110_NSN_2840015975183PR_PN_9547M20G05
Solicitation # FD20302700128
The U.S. Air Force, through the 421st Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of manufacturing new spares for the F110 engine nozzle, identified by NSN 2840015975183PR and part number 9547M20G05. This is not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract, and no funds are currently available; the intent is solely to assess industry capability, determine whether the requirement can be competitively sourced, and evaluate potential for a small business set-aside. Interested vendors must be prepared to handle full new manufacture of the item, including procurement of components, inspection, testing, packaging, shipping, supply chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, and mitigation of diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, with potential responsibility for nonrecurring engineering costs to qualify as an approved source. Technical data requirements are specified through the Manufacturing Qualification Requirements (MQR-PSD-1), which must be reviewed via SAM.gov, and Engineering Data Lists (EDLs) provided by the government are annotated; the absence of an EDL obligates bidders to independently obtain necessary technical specifications. Requests for engineering drawings must be submitted using a standardized form to the designated public sales desk, with a $107 administrative fee applicable. Participation requires completion of a Source Approval Request (SAR) package submitted electronically via DoD SAFE, with submission instructions and contact details provided for AFSC Small Business Office support. Responses must include detailed business information such as company name, CAGE code, UEI, size status under NAICS 336412 (1,500-employee size standard), and certifications including small business, women-owned, disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and service-disabled veteran-owned status, along with ownership origin. The response deadline is August 8, 2026, and estimated spares demand spans June 2026 to June 2027. All communications must be directed to the specified email addresses, with no inquiries permitted to the originating office.
