Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors has issued a Request for Proposal for the comprehensive rehabilitation of Highway 857:06 between two defined segments south of Highway 652 to Highway 28, encompassing preliminary engineering, detailed design, tendering, contract administration, construction supervision, post-construction services, and warranty inspections. Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors emphasizes selection based on overall value rather than lowest cost and reserves the right to request clarifications, accept or reject proposals without negotiation, or negotiate changes to technical or financial elements of the winning proposal. No reimbursement will be provided for proposal preparation costs, and while the solicitation is issued under the Government of Alberta, the agency listed as the contracting body is incorrectly identified as Government of Canada in the data, which may reflect a system error.
