Trash Enclosure Modifications

The contract involves comprehensive site improvements at two municipal parking locations—the Balboa Pier Parking Lot and the Corona del Mar Beach Municipal Lot—with work scope including obtaining all required City Building Permits, demolishing and removing the existing concrete masonry unit trash enclosure along with other on-site improvements, disposing of debris, constructing a new CMU trash enclosure, performing necessary concrete work, and restriping designated parking spaces. All bid submissions must be made electronically as hard copies are not accepted, and bidders are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their submissions regardless of any issues arising from printing or technical errors in downloaded documents. The City explicitly disclaims liability for late submissions caused by network, internet, or other technical failures. A bid bond of 10 percent of the total bid amount is mandatory and must be submitted in original sealed form to the City Clerk’s Office prior to the bid opening deadline of June 18, 2026, at 9:00 PM Pacific Time. Responses received after this deadline will not be considered under any circumstances.
