TRAUMA-INFORMED WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE AND IMPACT EVALUATION

Birmingham Children's Trust Community Interest Company is seeking a qualified provider to implement an organisation-wide trauma-informed workforce development, leadership, and evaluation programme. The scope of work focuses on strengthening trauma-responsive approaches through advanced training for frontline practitioners, leadership and management development, and the creation of internal educators and champions. Key deliverables include an organisational maturity assessment, programme evaluation, and comprehensive sustainability planning to ensure effective knowledge transfer. Services will be delivered to employees within the Birmingham geographic area using a blend of in-person and virtual methods, with the potential for optional specialist facilitator training. The contract is an open competition with an estimated base value of 90,000 GBP excluding VAT. The period of performance is scheduled from December 1, 2026, to November 30, 2027, with a possible one-year extension to November 30, 2028, subject to budget. Award decisions will be based on a 70:30 Quality to Commercial split. The solicitation is open to all suitable providers, with a particular welcome for small and medium-sized enterprises and voluntary, community, and social enterprises.
