Understanding the Interconnection of Nature, Climate and Health Challenges

Natural England is soliciting a fixed-price contract for staff training focused on the interconnection of nature, climate, and health challenges. The project requires the delivery of two training sessions, one of which must be conducted in person in Reading, with the final delivery expected in March 2027. The scope of work includes ensuring participants understand the Green Infrastructure Framework, GI mapping and standards, and the Sustainable Development Goals. The contract is anticipated to run for four months, starting November 30, 2026, and ending no later than March 19, 2027. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous tender based on a weighted evaluation of 60 percent technical and 40 percent commercial factors. Technical criteria include the service proposal, key personnel qualifications, methodology, and quality assurance measures. Under the selected intellectual property terms, Natural England will own all new intellectual property rights and be granted a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license for all training materials. The agreement incorporates standard goods and services terms for purchases under 50,000 GBP and includes a contractor liability cap of 5,000,000 GBP. Proposals must be submitted by November 22, 2026.
