AI Contract Overview
This contract is for the procurement of a "Tray, Counting, Table" designed specifically for tablets and capsules, intended for medical use. The tray is constructed from plastic and includes mechanisms to separate a counted quantity of tablets or capsules and to pour excess doses back into the bottle, making it compatible for docking with medication vials. It also comes equipped with a spatula. Packaging and packing must adhere to commercial standards as specified in the procurement documentation, ensuring each unit is sealed in a container that protects against damage during shipping. The units will be packed in suitable commercial exterior shipping containers to guarantee safe delivery by common carrier to the final destination at the lowest possible cost. All materials must be marked according to Medical Marking Standard No. 1, superseding MIL-STD-129 requirements. The contract stipulates a unit of issue of “each” with a total quantity of two trays requested. Delivery is required within five days, FOB destination, with inspection and acceptance also to be conducted at the destination point. This solicitation refers to DLA packaging requirements and incorporates relevant technical and quality standards as set forth in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements. Removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies is mandated where applicable, and covered defense information provisions may apply. The contract is managed by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain FSH, with the primary point of contact being Tina Vu. The solicitation number is SPE2DH-26-T-2338 and is part of federal medical acquisitions under NAICS code 339113.
