TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY: ROCRWS Phase 2 Expansion CMAR - PP#5 - Process Equipment Procurement

PACKAGE No. 5 - PROCESS EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT Mechanical Bar Screens Rotary Drum Screen Grit Removal System UV Disinfection Scope Package 3 Early Site Work and Utility Relocation to prepare the site for the next phase of expansion. See Contract Documents for specific scope included in this Package. Work of this Project generally includes expansion of the Red Oak Creek Regional Wastewater System from 6.0 MGD to 12.0 MGD. The project will include two Phases, Phase 1 Expansion from 6.0 to 8.0 MGD is needed as the first priority (currently under construction), followed by Phase 2 Expansion from 8.0 to 12.0 MGD (work packages expected in 2027 and 2028). More specifically, the Work includes, but is not limited to, construction of the following: PHASE 1 6.0 to 8.0 MGD Expansion 1. Add 2ea Peak Flow Storage Tanks (7MG each), including yard piping, odor control system, electrical, instrumentation and controls. 2. Expand existing Aeration Basin 1C to match existing Train 2 operation. 3. Modify Aeration Basins 1A, 1B, 1C and 2 4. Modify Influent Splitter Box 5. Add a 7.5 MGD pump at Lift Station No. 2 inlcuding connection to existing header, piping and valves. PHASE 2 8.0 to 12.0 MGD Expansion 1. Add a new Administration/Lab Building adjacent to the existing building 2. Add a new influent coarse screen facility and all necessary underground utility modifications 3. Influent Pump Station Modifications to increase the firm capacity from 15 MGD to 42 MGD 4. Add a third drum screen and a third grit removal unit at the Headworks Facility 5. Add additional aeration basin (new trains), secondary clarifiers, RAS/WAS Pump Station and supporting facilities 6. Add clarifier influent and effluent splitter box 7. Add new UV disinfection and Filtration Facilities to handle a capacity up to 42 MGD
