The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking information and potential sources for leasing office and flex space in proximity to Orlando International Airport (MCO), Orlando, Florida. The required space will vary between 11,367 and 12,000 ANSI/BOMA square feet and must include adequate facilities for office work, physical training, and a break room. Furthermore, the space must provide at least 48 parking spaces, 30 of which need to be reserved. The leasing term is proposed to be 240 months, with a firm term of 60 months, and offers the possibility of three additional 5-year extensions. It is crucial that the location be within a seven-mile radius of the airport, accessible via major roads or public transport, and suitable for accommodating rigorous training exercises with necessary soundproofing. Additional requirements include compliance with fire safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards as per the lease terms. The facility should support heavy equipment movement, have room to securely operate a 24-hour operation, and meet the structural requirements for housing specific training equipment, including a gym and simulator. The space should ideally be contiguous on one floor, though up to 25% can be split across different floors if necessary. Interested parties must submit written expressions of interest by March 6, 2025, providing details such as building name, address, footage, rental rate, and parking details, directed to Tasha Hill and Anthony Alberici at TSA.
