Turf Grass Condition Assessment

The City of Saskatoon Parks Department is issuing a request for proposals to engage a qualified consultant for a comprehensive assessment of turf grass conditions across its parks and open space network. The assessment must follow a standardized methodology to ensure consistent data collection, enabling accurate comparisons of turf health, identification of maintenance gaps, and informed prioritization of both routine upkeep and capital renewal investments. The work is scheduled to occur within a one-month window during the 2026 growing season, specifically after peak growth concludes and before turf enters dormancy, to ensure optimal evaluation conditions. All responses must be submitted via the City’s electronic bidding platform at saskatoon.bidsandtenders.ca, where interested parties must first register to access solicitation documents, submit questions, receive updates, and file their proposals. The submission deadline is 2:00:59 p.m. Saskatchewan Time on Monday, August 17, 2026, and award notifications will be published on the same portal.
