Full Description

The Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV is seeking a qualified individual or company capable of providing Cosmetology Instruction to the female inmate population. The contractor shall be required to have a Master Teacher license in the State of West Virginia. The contractor shall provide a training program of professionally accepted teaching methodologies in cosmetology skills which will consist of 20% classroom training and 80% live work. There will be an estimated 1456 (1 hour) sessions per year. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price non-personal services requirements contract to the responsive and responsible offeror, meeting the requirements of the Statement of Work. The period of performance will be from date of award through September 30, 2007, with the Government's unilateral right to exercise one (1) option year. This solicitation will be available on or before June 23, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
