INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Alabama Fire College, 2501 Phoenix Dr Tuscaloosa AL 35405. The contractor provides fire equipment training for Apparatus Operator: Pumper. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A firm fixed price contract shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. Justification for this sole source procurement IAW FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. NAICS Code 611310.
