AI Contract Overview

The General Services Administration is seeking to lease approximately 101,920 to 106,000 square feet of warehouse and related space with a small office component in Washington, DC, specifically within five miles of the White House. The requirement calls for a single building solution capable of meeting ISC Security Level III standards, featuring a minimum 20-foot clear ceiling height, 20-foot edge-to-edge column spacing, at least one drive-in bay, and two loading docks. Additionally, the facility must include a fenced parking lot with a minimum of 83 exclusive spaces and must not be located within a 100-year flood plain. The procurement is for a ten-year firm term fully serviced lease. While the government initially sought expressions of interest to conduct a cost-benefit analysis between relocating and remaining in its current space, a justification for other than full and open competition was issued for a succeeding lease at 3030-3070 V Street, NE, for the US Secret Service. This sole source action was based on the fact that only the incumbent lessor responded to the interest notice. The estimated contract value for this ten-year term is 17,152,844.40 dollars.
