Full Description

The Global Fund Liaison will serve as an U.S. Personal Services Contractor placed within the U.S. Embassy community under Chief of Mission Authority. This position plays a critical role in ensuring close coordination among U.S. government investments through PEPFAR, PMI and TB and those financed by the Global Fund. This includes providing comprehensive, senior level public health advice and technical assistance on Global Fund and other external stakeholder issues to the United States Government (USG) Interagency Team in Malawi. In addition, the incumbent will work with multilateral organizations, such as UNAIDS, and Civil Society to ensure the impact of Global Fund investments in Malawi.
