The Department of Veterans Affairs, through VISN 9's Network Contracting Office 9, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Mind-Body Skills Training exclusively to The Center for Mind Body Medicine. This sole source award is justified under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) because the required service is proprietary and can only be provided by this single responsible source. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611430, with a size standard of $30 million. The contracting office emphasizes that this notice is not a solicitation or request for quotes but an announcement of intent to sole source. Interested parties who believe they can fulfill the requirement may submit written responses by September 10, 2021, at 8:00 am CT to the designated contracting officer, Crystal Baird. However, the government reserves the right to decide not to compete the contract based on any responses received. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed by FAR Clause 52.232-33 to be considered.
