UKRI-5541 Framework Agreement for BGS Keyworth Food Supplies

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is establishing a single-provider framework agreement to supply dry, tinned, chilled, and frozen food products to the British Geological Survey (BGS) located in Keyworth, Nottingham. The contract is estimated to be worth 240,000 GBP excluding VAT, or 288,000 GBP including VAT. The initial term is set for two years, estimated from 22 February 2027 to 21 February 2029, with an option to extend for two additional 12-month periods, potentially extending the agreement to 22 February 2031. The framework will operate through an annual blanket order, with specific deliveries requested on an as and when required call-off basis. Award selection is based on a weighted evaluation of 70 percent for technical quality and 30 percent for price. Bidders must provide a price schedule that remains firm and fixed for at least six months from the commencement date. This procurement is noted as particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises.
