Ulrich Stream Crossing Project (Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-MEN-60170-R1C)

The Ulrich Stream Crossing Project, identified by Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-60170-R1C, is an agreement between the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and Frank Ulrich. Executed pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, the project is located in Mendocino County within the Russian River watershed, approximately two miles north of Potter Valley. The work is specifically situated at Assessor's Parcel Number 173-130-04, with coordinates 39.3510 N and 123.1203 W. The scope of work is limited to a single encroachment to upgrade an existing stream crossing culvert. This process involves excavation, the removal of the old culvert, installation of a new properly sized culvert, backfilling, compaction of fill, and the application of rock armoring to prevent erosion.
